 Introduction

When you wake up in the morning and you are preparing yourself for work, it really never crosses your mind the fact that today you might literally have a horrible day. Many people love their jobs and even though they do not hold some of the most prestigious job titles themselves; they always make sure to perform to the best of their ability. But sometimes we really do mess up everything by making avoidable and silly mistakes.

Chapter One

John Doe was a hardworking post office employee. He has been with the company for many years now, ten years to be exact and he has always maintained a spotless record. One day though, while sorting through the mail, John came across a mysterious envelope. It was marked "Private and Confidential" and it had no return address on it. John then set the envelope aside, with a plan of dealing with the package later since he was too busy to leave his post, but during the hustle and bustle of the busy post office, he completely forgot about it. Days went by and soon the envelope was nowhere to be found. He had misplaced it and his last memory of the envelope is very blurred. John with the help of some of his closest colleagues searched high and low, but the envelope was nowhere to be found, it had vanished just like that, and nowhere to be found. He knew that the package contained sensitive information and the thought of losing it weighed so heavily upon his mind. He became restless. He feared for his job and the consequences of his mistake.

Soon more of John's colleagues and supervisors were also forced to join the search for the missing envelope but it seemed like it vanished into thin air, without a trace. They interviewed all the employees on duty that day, and they even went through all the security footage but nothing was found. John couldn't shake the feeling of guilt and responsibility for the missing envelope. He basically knew that he had made a grave mistake and that it could have serious repercussions. He could only hope that the package would be found and that the sensitive information it contained would not fall into the wrong hands. As the days passed, the search for the missing envelope continued, but it remained elusive. John couldn't help but wonder what the future held for him and if he would ever be able to make things right.

Chapter Two

John's co-workers and supervisors were starting to lose patience and he could see the tension in their eyes. He knew that he had to find the missing envelope very quickly before it was too late. John's relief was short-lived as he quickly came to realize that the package had been tampered with. Someone had opened it and read the information inside. He knew that he had to take the package to his supervisor immediately. He couldn't believe what was happening; his mind was racing with different thoughts and emotions. John explained everything and showed them the security footage of where the package was tampered with. The investigation revealed that the package had been stolen by a mole that had been hired by a rival company, who were trying to gain an advantage by obtaining the sensitive information. John was cleared of any wrongdoing and was given praise for his determination in finding the missing package. But he couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt and responsibility, knowing that the package was tampered with under his watch.

Chapter Three
