Tranquility: The Chronicles of John Doe

Introduction 

A very simple and quiet life, a peaceful life, and life without any troubles... now that is a life of pure tranquility, but the question is are we living in a peaceful world? Are we untroubled? Or is this a world full of wars and chaos? There are those that wish and long for a life of tranquility because their hearts are not at peace and they are torn by past traumas, but John on the other hand refuses to allow the past to put him down and wear him out.  

Chapter One 

It is indeed without a doubt that we live in a world full of chaos, panic, and hostility, but however, even in these difficult times, there are people out there who are very much capable of leading a peaceful life, a quiet life, a life without too much worry, a harmonious life, and life of tranquil. Truth is told that even though a life of tranquility is possible, it won’t be a smooth ride always...

John Doe is a man who leads a quiet and peaceful life, and yes he also does go out to parties with friends for having fun but he honestly prefers staying home indoors because that is the only place where he can get all the peace and quietness he needs. Most people or individuals who really enjoy a quiet and peaceful life are people who are considered shy and introverted individuals; it is certainly not a bad thing because not everyone has the energy to run around out there causing trouble everywhere they go. Just like everyone else John also has his rough days… days he dares to forget about, days that haunt him once in a while.

Chapter Two 

Growing up John Doe was never a naughty kid, he was rather reserved and he knew how to stay away from trouble, he did not say much and he always had a small group of friends, but surprisingly so he was popular amongst his peers. John’s grade school days were not much of a hassle despite his reserved character, but sometimes some of his teachers would call upon him to either present or do something that requires the attention of the whole class because they believed that he was too smart to be non-active. People are different and their life experiences are also completely different, some get or were bullied simply because of their reserved character, simply because they lead a quiet life, and simply because they do not talk much and are very uncomfortable, especially in front of a lot of people, particularly strangers to be precise. As a kid, you often get confused and feel overwhelmed by your shyness and being introverted or reserved, but as you get older you get to realize that all the confusion was really for nothing and that being shy and introverted does not mean you are not human at all.

The high school environment was very different; teachers were a bit negligent when it came to doing their jobs as they would often lock themselves in their offices and as always, there were bullies always present, smoking, lurking around the schoolyard, and bunking classes. John, on the other hand, was completely different because despite his reserved character he never allowed or gave bullies the chance to overpower him, he is a fighter, he doesn’t get intimidated easily and he can be a bit aggressive when pushed to the corner...

Unlike grade school and college, the high school environment can prove to be one of the most dangerous places you can ever find yourself because here there are a lot of kids who are being bullied, teen pregnant, difficulties adapting to the new environment and there is not a lot or no emotional support at all and some end up dropping out of school completely. However despite everything said leading a peaceful and quiet life is very possible in the school environment and it is very common amongst a certain number of learners there are also some teachers who really love their jobs and are always and forever present, teachers who offer emotional support to their learners and always making sure that they pass with impressive marks.

Chapter Three 

A life of tranquil, peaceful life and quiet life is very possible to lead at college because this is one of those environments where you will find people who are mature, people who cannot afford to spend most of their time misbehaving or running around without a purpose. One of the most difficult things about college is that no one really cares about you, including the professors, unless of course when it is time to submit your assignments. 

With almost everyone focused on their studies sure college can be a peaceful environment most of the time, a place where the likes of John and fellow introverts can roam around quietly, freely, and undisturbed. Another true fact is that shy and introverts really differ to some extent, some prefer going out for fun, they prefer outdoor adventures, and outdoor activities while some prefer staying indoors, streaming music, streaming movies, and different series programs reading books, writing e-books, and blogging.

 Again it is not a shameful thing if you prefer or enjoy and love living a quiet and peaceful life because it is highly unlikely that you might succumb to the negative forces that might lead to stress, anxiety, and depression.

Initially, being quiet, shy, and introverted made it a bit difficult for John to be in a relationship, simply because he always and mostly found himself in relationships with people of the complete opposite character, people who are extremely bubbly, outgoing, and complete extroverts. In most cases, it was as if somebody had tried to mix oil with water. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being in a relationship with someone of the opposite character so long as there is loyalty, support, respect, and love between the two parties involved. By the grace of God certainly, things finally took a turn for John Doe, this time he met someone… someone who matches his character, someone who is loyal, honest, supportive, respectful, and someone who is vibrant, and full of love. This time John met someone who also enjoys solitude, peaceful situations, places that do not overcrowd with lots of people, someone who enjoys alone time, someone who’s shy, introverted, and reserved just like him but certainly outgoing at the same time. John is extremely happy and everybody can see that it is in situations like these where one sometimes wonders if there are people who are really meant to be together forever?

When John got his first job he was extremely thrilled as he thought he was well on his way towards independence, unfortunately, he did not even work there for long because it was too much for him to cope with the unpleasant working conditions and with very little pay on top of that. His second job where he was hired as a picker lasted a bit longer but not that long. Here he earned a bit more than what he used to earn in his previous job and this time the working conditions were a lot better also. John is quiet and reserved most of the time was met with but not severe animosity and hostility from his colleagues who mistook his silence for a sign of weakness. 

Superiors will always be superiors, thus always treating everybody fairly and equally, only if he or she is a good person though. This means that John never had any problems with his superiors and they also never had any problems or quarrels with him. Unfortunately, there came a time when the contract expired and John left without a job once again but this time it might probably be for the best because John can now finally follow his dreams.

Hope is her name, and indeed she gave John a lot of it which is why he ended up proposing to her, and she agreed. Yes, John Doe is getting married and he is extremely excited. Marriage came at a very good time for John, a time wherein he had lost all hopes of a successful relationship that will last long. Marriage is a huge blessing, especially amongst the two people who are involved in that relationship, much more when they show respect and love one another. John will surely be happy and enjoy being in this marriage because this marriage promises to be peaceful. Hope is certainly a good match for John and without a doubt, the two of them complement each other very well.
